Balancing Act

I was fortunate to have been able to be on a boat during a regatta in Lake Monroe which is 2 blocks from my studio in Sanford, FL. I took many reference photos as the sailboats sailed by. For this particular image one of the sailors was hanging onto the side of the boat as he readjusted some of the rigging. This painting was accepted into the Florida Watercolor Society annual exhibit.
