Beech Mountain

I drove to the top of Beech Mountain in North Carolina and painted the sunset. The elevation is at 5,506 feet and I had a breathtaking 360 degree view. The cool mountain air was such a welcome relief from the hot Florida sun that I'm accustomed to. There were clouds in the distance that provided a little rain, but I was able to stay high and dry. Such a beautiful place to watch the sunset.
