Regatta on Lake Monroe

For over 25 years the Lake Monroe Sailing Association has hosted a regatta the first weekend of December in Sanford, FL. I try to make it to the shores of Lake Monroe during this annual event. Sometimes I will paint the sailboats that are off in the distance and sometimes I take photos to use as references for future paintings. In the past I have been honored to join other spectators on a boat at the regatta and take close-up photos during the sailing event.
